Alaskan Malamute in Australia FOUNDERS - My parents Tony & Merilyn Syme bred the 1st ever litter of Alaskan Malamutes in Australia in May 1981. Then approx 38 years ago, I took over the breeding from them. Both my parents are still very active in the Australian National Canine Ass. We have a legacy of Extremely High quality healthy beautiful natured Malamutes. CHIMO is a Globally recognised bloodline. We have bred numerous Supreme & Grand Champion’s as well as successful racing dogs, obedience & even had fun in lure coursing & tracking with our dogs. All round extremely well bred dogs. All of our dogs are from imported American and Canadian bloodlines, we strive to produce sound, healthy dogs with an attitude to work and show. Merv and myself have been involved with Alaskan Malamutes for over 18 years having been actively involved in sleddog racing, weight pulling and showing having had success in all three areas.
