We have shared our lives with Australian Shepherds since 1995. We live with a small number of dogs as each dog competes in numerous activities and lives out their lives with us as family members. The Aussie is an excellent versatile all rounder and we have successfully titled dogs in Agility, Obedience, Rally, Tricks, Tracking, Flyball, Endurance, Herding and Conformation. We breed very occasionally when we would like a dog to join our family and prefer to home puppies in performance/sporting homes. We have been importing working line genetics from the USA for our bitches and have unique proven working pedigrees in Australia. All dogs are fully health tested, please see individual profiles for more details. Cedarspring Australian Shepherds, located west of Melbourne Victoria, focuses on producing functional aussies with a sound temperament to match. I was first bitten by the 'aussie shepherd' bug in 2007, and have since been involved in dog sports such as flyball, rally-obedience, tracking, agility, tricks and lure coursing with my aussies. Cedarspring aims to produce versatile dogs that can perform well in sporting and performance trials, as well as claim their rightful place as part of a loving family. All breeding stock is DNA tested, hip and elbow scores completed and eye tests performed annually. Puppies are raised with Puppy Culture protocols, eye tests completed, Volhard temperament testing, microchipped, vaccinated, registered with Dogs Australia and DNA testing for MDR1 completed before going to their new homes. Please note we have no plans for any future litters at this stage.
