In 2003 we starting showing Aussie's with some success. In 2005 after much research into the breed we started our own breeding program. The Aussie's fit in well with our already strong Aust Cattle Dog team, built up over the last 30 years. We strive to produce quality Australian Shepherds that are structurally sound, have great movement, strong work ethic and FANTASTIC temperaments. Like with our Cattle dogs, LANBART kennels only breed 1 or 2 litters a year, so when we decide to breed a litter a lot of thought has gone into it. We have put in a lot of work to build a solid foundation for Lanbart Aussies with good structure, NBT gene & Great temperaments, we will reap the benefits of that in the coming years.. All our breeding stock have had all the relavant health tests. I have been involved in Australian Shepherds since 2004, and Alaskan Malamutes since 1992. My dogs hail from the world renowned, top USA Harmony Hills kennels in USA. I only have a small number of dogs who form our family. I not breed often, as I breed for quality combining both phenotype and genotype. The dogs I have imported and the few that I have bred do extremely well in all dogs sports, with Supreme Champions, Grand Champions and Multi Best In Show and Specialty winners. However, They more importantly make beautiful sound and loving companions. All my dogs are DNA tested for all known genetic disorders that can be tested for in the breed, have been hip/elbow scored and eye tested. All puppies will be raised in our family home and be well socialised. No decisions on puppies will be made until they have been assessed at Eight (8) weeks of age for temperament and structure.
