We are experienced breeders and exhibitors of quality mini wires. Based in Brisbane we have been actively involved with the Qld.Dog World and the Dachshund Club of Queensland for many years. We are very proud of our lovely Champion mini wires and have selectively imported our breeding stock from top kennels in the United Kingdom, Japan and New Zealand. Our stud dogs and breeding mums have tested clear of Lafora’s disease and PRA cord 1. We really love seeing our dogs and pups excel in the show ring, enjoying club obedience and dog sports, and growing up in special homes as pampered pets. Thanks for all the feedback and news of our recent litters. We look forward to sharing more comments and progress stories of our super furkids. However, due to changed family situations we are not planning any litters for some time and do not have any lovely pups available.

The Miniature Wirehaired Dachshunds from Tarrangower are delightful little characters that have been selectively bred to excel in the show ring as well as in the earthdog den. They are wonderful companions and good watchdogs. All of our breeding stock is certified PRA and Laforas disease clear. Puppies are occasionally available.

We are a small tight knit family breeders who only breed sparingly Health and Temperament are paramount . Selective breeding only. All breeding stock and puppies tested clear for PRA Cord 1 and Parents and Grandparents tested CLEAR for Laforas disease with full documentation. All breeding stock are also back x-rayed to determine the calcifications in the spine (IVDD). Proof of clearance certificates available for both parents and grandparents. I do not just say clear by parentage. House raised healthy, happy dogs. When inquiring about dogs always be honest and upfront with breeders. A beautiful mini wire came to live with us a few years ago, a show dog for our daughter who was too small to handle our great danes. What an impact this little dachshund has made on our lives.
