We have had German Shepherds for many years, successfully participating in obedience, agility, herding and tracking, as well as Specialty and All Breeds showing. Warren and I are both ANKC Obedience Judges with Warren also being a Tracking Judge. Our breeding stock is based on the lines of the well known Astasia Kennels, most famously "Carson" Ch & O.Ch Astasia Carson UD ET PT 'A''Z' BSCl.1 and his equally famous daughter "Starr" O.Ch Astasia Starr UDX AD JD TD ET HSAs BH 'A''Z' BSCl.1. All our dogs are X-Rayed for hip & elbow displaysia through the GSDCA breed schemes and we also DNA test for DM (Degenerative Myleopathy). Health and sound character are of the utmost importance. Most of our girls carry the Long Coat Gene, so there is always the possibility of fluffy puppies in every litter, although this is not a guarantee Our dogs are part of our family, with all puppies being raised in our home and time spent in our Puppy Enrichment Area

We have been breeding German Shepherds since 1984. All our dogs are x-rayed for hip/elbow under the GSDCA scheme. All dogs are DNA tested for all traits and diseases that Shepherds may carry. Due to ill health and a change in living conditions we are unable to breed dogs like we used too. The majority of our dogs are black in colour, long coats, large with heavy bone, the ability to suit any situation. We have dogs who are Assistance dogs for people with disabilities and/or PTSD. Our dogs make ideal family dogs that are indeed part of the family. We have also placed dogs on farms as workers, security, therapy dogs. At MALACHI we also do obedience training from 8 weeks and we are licensed Assistance dog Trainers with Guide Hearing and Assistance Dogs Qld. .
