Oakway German Shepherds was established in 1981 by Patricia Halliwell. We are a dedicated enthusiasts of the German Shepherd breed and for the past forty one years Trish, Renee, Lenore have established Oakway Kennels as one of the most competitive German Shepherd Kennels in New Zealand. We strive to breed German Shepherd Dogs of high anatomic value, that are sound in body, mind and spirit. We have an established a type throughout our kennel which can be recognized. First and foremost our dogs are not just show dogs, but members of our family. Oakway German Shepherds has been awarded the Silver and Bronze Medal's by the The German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia Inc. for over 31 X-rayed animals passing their Hip and Elbow Displasia Scheme('A'and 'Z' Stamp).
