We are situated in the Central Highlands of Victoria. We are the breeders of numerous excellent graded dogs specifically Schaeferhund Quintina who was graded EXCELLENT SELECT at a Main Breed Show. SCHAEFERHUND KENNELS RECEIVED THE ERICH ORSCHLER BREEDERS AWARD FOR THE YEAR 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013 AND 2014 AND RUNNERUP IN 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Schaeferhund Kennels also qualified for the Gold Medal for passes in the HD scheme and received the Gold Medal at the 2010 National. Schaeferhund Quintina was awarded The Best Bitch Of The Year 2004. Our Lexy (Ryzack Alexa) was also awarded The Best Bitch of the Year 2011. Schaeferhund Rafael was Sieger in WA in 2017, 2018 and again in 2019. We are a Registered ANKC Dogs Victoria Breeder, Located in Ballan 3342. VON GORON 3100029832 RB102453 We breed Working Line German Shepherds (stock coat and long stock coat, producing dogs that are thick boned, solid and most importantly aim for healthy pups that are stable in temperament. Our puppies leave us with lifetime support in obedience/behavioural training. They are suited to experienced homes as family pets or for handlers of sports performance disciplines. We follow the DV breeding Code of Conduct. Our breeding dogs are X-ray scored through the CHED scheme and DNA tested for hereditary disease. Our dogs live with us as family pets on our 5 acre property, they are not housed in a kennel environment. They share our home with our 2 daughters, cats and our Doberman and Leonberger. - Our Process - Those who enquire about a puppy are asked to complete an Expression of Interest Form. Once pups are born we will schedule a meeting with potential owners. From there successful applicants will be notified.
