Lukota is a small scale breeder and our dogs are our family. We have both a high drive working line and show lines. Stock coats and Long coats We are the 3rd generation GSD breeders in our family and have had German shepherds most of our life’s We are active in both Obedience shows and Conformation shows and really believe in only breeding to better the breed. We focus a lot on temperament and breeding well rounded dogs. Our German Shepherds make great family pets with beautiful sound and solid temperaments. Our pups are raised on 100+ acres and are exposed to all types of animals and livestock, loud sounds, machinery and children. As a dog trainer I put a lot of effort, training and environmental exposure and early neurological stimulation into our pups in the critical time of their life to try and ensure well rounded and confident and outgoing puppies.

Pups will be $3950 on limited register. Meet Lou (Sheatarn Astrella)- our delightful and 'true to type' female sable German Shepherd Dog. Lou comes from a long line of working GSD's with siblings in military/ government/ police roles, along with others who live a lovely life as well balanced and beloved family pets. She is extremely owner focused which makes her incredibly eager to please and train. With excellent hip and elbow scores well below the breed average, and genetically tested, we raise our puppies to be gently handled by all members of our family. Our babies grow up with cats, other dogs, normal household sights/ smells and sounds. We love our breed and aim for the highest standard health wise and with the breed standard forefront in our heart.
