GOLDSMITH is a small kennel located in the beautiful Wairarapa village of Greytown on the East coast of NZ an hour north of Wellington. A limited numbers of dogs are kept so that they are guaranteed a quality life. Goldsmith is the home of Aus Sup Ch NZ Gr Ch Glentreve Putting the Wind Up Goldsmith who is NZ's most titled Golden Retriever. The dogs are line bred with hips, elbows and eyes tested before breeding. The emphasis is put on both temperament and construction and they are expected to be athletic and able to do the job that they are bred for as well win in the confirmation show ring. Dogs we have bred have been successful in the obedience ring although time doesn't permit our personal involvement. The kennel is a family affair and the dogs are part of that family.
