Mating Bronson to our Beautiful brindle girl Aust Ch Congistador No Nonsense IMP NZ "Piper" produced an outstanding litter, their son Aust Ch Chelshar the Magician ,"Merlin"and his sister Aust Ch Charmed "Paige"were titled at 12mths, 5 other puppies from that litter were titled at just over 12 mths of age.We have two new additions to the Chelshar family Aust Ch Kochak Omnipotent"Chelsea" and the youngest Aust Ch Rithpen King of Kings "Dalton" making his presents felt in the show ring.Although the puppies do very well in the show ring they also are wonderful companions and a very BIG part of our family.We have a new brindle addition to our family Rithpen Miss Congeniality 'Gracie ',although Gracie has been to only a few shows she is well on her way to her Australian Championship ,winning best opposite Minor Puppy in Show at the Great Dane Club Ch show .We are hoping to get Gracie out and about later this year .

We are located on the Capricorn Coast of Central Queensland and have been Registered Breeders with Dogs Queensland since early 2000. We breed Blues and the Harlequin line from dogs with outstanding health, temperaments and sound confirmation. Although we commenced our kennels with Australian bred Danes, we soon realized that we needed to diversify our genetic pool and started looking at the European Great Danes, where these gentle giants originated. We commenced importing frozen semen of carefully selected dogs from, Denmark, England, Ireland, Hungary and Croatia and soon after, we started importing a number of dogs from the UK, Hungary, Croatia and Russia, which has allowed us to greatly improve the health, confirmation, size and temperament of all the dogs we are currently breeding. Our dogs are very much part of our family and at the center of our lives. From a very young age, our Danes are socialized with family, friends, children of all ages and a variety of farm animals. Our puppies are currently living with selected loving families in every Australian State and Territory. We have also exported a number of puppies to a number of countries including New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Tahiti and Japan. Wishgram Great Danes is a small family run establishment. With all members of the family involved in breeding and raising the Great Dane dogs that we love. We are located in the north west of NSW on a property near Bonshaw. Our aim is to breed top quality dogs with the best of temperaments. We have three generations of girls living with us at the moment and our stud males are carefully selected to ensure the quality of our pups and provide optimum genetic diversity. We use solar power to our kennels for heating in winter and coolers in summer and we use bore/rainwater for cleaning. But we will not compromise or cut corners when it comes to feeding or veterinary care, using only top quality foods, wormers etc. We are happy to arrange transport of our puppies to their new owners or give detailed instructions and help in finding us. A character larger than life, Hildegard Schliefert founded Hildydane back in 1972, and her role in the history of the coloured Danes in Australia was pivotal, to the extent that most (if not all) of the coloured Dane breeders started their lines with a Hildydane. With her strong character she always fought to prove the versatility of this breed, importing quite a number of amazing specimens from USA and Europe, to strengthen the bloodlines in this country, and bred not only multiple champions in conformation shows but also titled some of her dogs in obedience as well, because as she well said: they’re an absolutely trainable and extremely intelligent breed, and getting their obedience titles was the best way to prove it, actions speak louder than words! They stole her heart and she bred them and showed them passionately until well over her 80’s, when she naturally retired from actively breeding. Having a very similar idea/mindset of what this beautiful dogs should be able to do, she entrusted us to carry on with her legacy in the breed for many more years to come, and because of our love to her we want the most beautiful Danes, inside and out, to keep carrying her name and making her proud. Majestic and functional, at Hildydane we strive to breed the most complete family dog, gentle and loving, but at the same time, a fearless protector of their home and family.
