We are situated in the Bay of Plenty, at the bottom of the Kaimai ranges. It is here we live on 5 acres of grounds with our dogs. Breeding true to type, sound Ridgebacks with great temperaments is our main aim as well as enjoying the show dog scene. All dogs used in my breeding program have been hip and elbow scored for dysplasia, DNA tested for DM, JME, the Dilute (blue) gene and more. I pride my self on the time & effort that goes in to finding the right breeding lines, temperament and dogs to compliment my females. I have imported three males and a female all from well respected breeders or specialty judges for the breed. I also import frozen semen to offer myself and others a fantastic family pet or show dog. Dogs I have bred are active in Agility, Rally-o, obedience and the show scene. All puppies are socialised with our family and of course our other dogs and friends that visit. Your new puppy will come with: 1st health check & vaccination. (including checks for Dermoid Sinus) Wormed every 2 weeks from 2 weeks of age. 4 weeks pet insurance. Pedigree papers from the NZKC (endorsements may apply) A puppy booklet including info on the parents and how to care for your new addition. Collar or blanket. Dogueridge NZKC registered kennel situated in the beautiful Bay of Plenty in NZ. We have owned, exhibit & breed the Rhodesian Ridgeback for nearly 32 years. All of our dogs are part of the family and are treated as such first and foremost. We do not get caught up in the clickiness and ego that can be involved in dog showing anymore we just enjoy our dogs. We strive to achieve true to type Rhodesian Ridgebacks with good health and temperament. .We feel the Rhodesian Ridgeback is one of the most healthiest breeds anyone could own these days with our knowledge of this breed. When we breed we do it generally for our own benefit but when we do there are also other precious babies needing homes also. The Ridgeback is a very loyal, strong and athletic dog which is a sight to behold when on the move.
