We have a couple of litters per year and also work very closely with other like minded breeders with breeding and finding forever homes for their pups. All our current adult dogs have had full DNA breed profiles done, (we do not rely on past generations genetics), and all pups are parentage verified. (to confirm their parents) Do we show? Yes, sometimes, but it’s not a priority. Our dogs enjoy herding in the cooler months & work with other animals on our property, doing what they enjoy and what they were initially bred for. When deciding to breed, we all put a huge emphasis on temperament, breeding to the breed standard, while at the same time we are all working at cleaning up the genetics of the breed. We are located on the Granite Belt, in Queensland, not far from the NSW border and pups can be viewed by appointment at a Brisbane location.

I have an interest in genetic disease and screen all my breeders with full breed genetic profiles to prevent puppies being affected by known corgi genetic disease traits. I breed tri-colour, sable and red and white corgis.

Here at Ivyvale kennels, I breed with a vision to bring improvements to the breed and to ensure our puppies are happy, healthy and have a kind temperament. Our puppies are raised on farming land with plenty of acearage, which means they are introduced from an early age to loud environments, other dogs, people and livestock so they can be well versed when introduced to their new homes. I have lived with and raised dogs for the majority of my lifetime and want our pups to go to the best homes possible, because of this I would look to send them to approved homes only to ensure they are the best fit for their new homes. I have a love for my breed and showing them gives me a socialisation aspect in my personal life. I actively show as much as my life allows, I titled my first pedigree corgi Benson to Australian Champion as of Easter 2019. In November 2020 I was luckily enough to get my new girl Reign from Gloria Woodward (Aberlee). Ch. Aberlee Reign Of Love. Reign has been genetically health tested and I am very happy with what she has in both genetics and conformation that will continue on upholding the integrity and standard of the breed, under mentor Gloria Woodward. Ch. Aberlee Rollin In Sunshine “Rollo” is an all breeds Best In Show & Runner Up Best In Show Specialty under breed specialist judges. Rollo is a - Multi Class In Show Winner - Multi Best/RUP In Group Winner Rollo is genetically clear of all genetic traits in the breed & a proven stud. I am a small breeder and will only breed for myself to continue on the progeny in the show ring. Brie [Tooshort A Little French Kiss] was my keeper from my first litter in 2023 (Reign and Connor “Ch. Aberlee French Connection) who is maturing nicely. In 2024 I had my second litter (Reign x Rollo), I ran on & titled brother and sister duo Reece & Lexie. Lexie is excelling in the ring under both All Breeds & specialty judges.
