Located on the beautiful Fraser Coast, Figtree Westies is dedicated to raising happy, healthy, and well-socialised West Highland White Terriers, affectionately known as “Westies.” We are deeply passionate about what we do, taking great pride in nurturing each puppy with care, attention, and a genuine love for the breed. Our focus is on raising puppies that are not only healthy, but also confident, well-adjusted, and ready to thrive in their new homes. At Figtree Westies, our puppies are raised in our home as part of the family, not in kennels. This ensures they are exposed to everyday household sights, sounds, and interactions from an early age. Through this hands-on approach, they develop into well-socialised, confident, and well-adjusted puppies, giving them the very best start in life. We are passionate about preserving the wonderful qualities of the breed, with a strong focus on: excellent temperament, sound structure and health, and early socialisation and enrichment. Every puppy we raise receives individual attention to support their development and wellbeing. The West Highland White Terrier is a small but sturdy Scottish breed, originally developed for hunting vermin. Today, they are cherished companion dogs known for their loyalty, confidence, and playful personality. Westies are intelligent and full of character—they are friendly and social, forming strong bonds with their families, alert and confident, making excellent little watchdogs, playful and energetic.
