About This Breeder

My aim is to breed dogs of a high standard with great temperaments and sound structure that conform to the breed standard. Litters are only bred at Bucklee Labradors to improve the breed. I exhibit my dogs as I am proud to promote the wonderful Labrador Retriever to the general public. My dogs are an important part of my family, are not kept in dog runs and are allowed to roam freely about my property and live in the house as part of the family.

Kennel Established 2000 I have owned Labradors for almost 50 years. Bucklee Kennels is a small kennel established 25 years ago and located in Emerald, Victoria. I breed for temperament, soundness and type with the intention of keeping something from each litter to exhibit. All our breeding stock are hip/elbow xrayed and are DNA tested. Our puppies are house raised with children, other animals and loving care. My dogs are an important part of my family. I am a qualified veterinary nurse, so every puppy is raised with an abundance of knowledge and care. Every stud dog is chosen with the utmost of care, making sure the combination of dogs will produce the highest quality litter.
