In 2021 I celebrated my 30th year devoted to the English Foxhound. I strive to breed healthy dogs with excellent temperaments that meet all the requirements of the breed standard with a focus on quality not quantity. All of my puppies are raised inside my home with 24 hour supervision. From a young age, my pups have daily access to an experience enriched outside play area with activities changing regularly to give them the best possible start to life. My families receive regular updates about their puppies development and antics through my private FB group and I offer all of my families lifetime support and advice. Whilst only a small kennel, many of my Hounds have been awarded highly at some of Australia's most prestigious shows including both Melbourne Royal & Adelaide Royal shows and Sunbury KC- Australia's largest one day show. I have also bred Best in Show and Runner Up Best in Show winners. I am very proud to have bred & own the first Australian SUPREME Champion Foxhound. I have owned /bred a further 3 Australian GRAND Champions and more than 25 Australian Champions. I have also bred Champion Foxhounds shown in USA, Brazil, India & New Zealand. After 33 years of breeding & exhibiting Foxhounds I started my journey into downsizing & the natural choice was to move into Harriers. I started exhibiting Harriers in 2022 and have to date finished 6 Australian Champions. One of these hounds is an American import & another once he finished his title was exported to the USA. All of our Harriers are/were active & successful hunting hounds registered with the Game Management Authority in Victoria. They have proven their worth in the showring without forfeiting the ability to successfully hunt. Harriers make great family pets- not as big or as strong as his larger cousin the Foxhound. They are quite active so need a commitment to regular exercise. With very easy going natures, Harriers would be willing participants in family outings or snuggles on the couch. Like the Foxhound they are a very hardy breed with no DNA testing required for breeding purposes. Our Harrier litters are raised with the same dedication & care given to my Foxhounds- 24/7 supervision & care, exposure to all types of experiences in a purpose built play area, noises, car travel, cats & other pets. I have a private FB group with updates on planned litters and families can watch the progress of their chosen puppy. With imports from the USA & CANADA we committed to ensuring genetic diversity.
