We are breeders of German Shepherd dogs based in Melbourne, Victoria. We breed for working traits as a number one priority but are mindful about appropriate conformation also. Kovacs Kennels has been a significant contributor to the breeding of quality working dogs in Australia as is demonstrated by our commitment to sourcing the very best from within Australia and abroad. Our imported stock to date are Reko von Heisenberg IPO.1, V Zasko vom Prielberg IPO.3 Kkl1 Lebensziet, Illas vom Haus Sevens IPO.3, Jira Ja Na Ka, we also have imported semen from SG K'nox vom Tollhaus IGP.3, V Pepper von Kap Karthago IPO.3 Kkl.1 Lebensziet, SG Quardes von der Staatsmacht IPO.3 Kkl1, V Drago vom Patriot IPO.3 Kkl1 and NZ Police Dog Trentham Yoda. Our dogs can be found within a variety of service appointments including police, corrections, and search and rescue in addition to a large number of IGP dogs.
