About This Breeder

Home of Australia's only Supreme Champion Mastiff - Sup. Ch. Mastdoch Big River Burning. Also home of the first BEST IN SHOW awarded mastiff at an all breed championship show and the first Grand Champion titled dog in the country. We imported our first Mastiff from Bredwardine Kennels in 1992. Over the years we have produced multiple Best In Show and Best in Group winners (all breeds Champ level). We breed and exhibit all 3 colours.

Mastdoch was founded by Peter & Karen Docherty who first imported a Mastiff from Bredwardine Kennels in 1992 from the UK. Over the years we have produced multiple Best In Show and Best in Group winners (all breeds Champ level). We breed and exhibit all 3 colours. All of our breeding dogs are health tested for cystinuria, PRA, CMR1, DM and are hip and elbow scored. Membership number - 2100078232
