Australian Cattle dogs, especially the red's, have always been in my family and have always resided on the back door step for the past 30 + years. Growing up they were always by our side and often steered us kids away from trouble on the farm. Dad would say that he knew where us kids were, because the dog was there and on many occasions, lucky they were! This breed is one of the most loyal and loving family dogs you could have, but like all working breeds they need family time, attention, training and exercise. Situated in the heart of the river country, Echuca has been my home for over 30 years, just as the Border collie has in my home. Growing up with my grandfathers and parents chocolate and white border collies on the farms has influenced my love for not only the chocolate colour but this amazing breed of dog who can read your mind and be capable of so many human qualities. Their love, affection, agility, intelligence, and intuition is truly unique. I strive to keep the Border Collie as traditional to its heritage as possible. The Japanese Spitz was my very first show dog breed at the age of 8 years old. My girl was the start of my interest in conformation showing and I have loved it ever since.
