Merikaez is a well-established kennel, starting with Mary Keast and Italian greyhounds in 1978. Since then, the prefix has been passed down to her daughter Alicia and Granddaughter Chloe. We now Breed, show and love Basenjis and Papillons. Merikaez is home to Australia’s Youngest Supreme Champion Basenji, with over 25 Group 1st placings before 18months old. We strive for Temperament, Health and quality. All of our dogs are born and raised in our family home.
