Established since 1972, Amhurst lines incorporate the world famous Wendover breeding, making our dogs over 90 years line bred. The last 21 years has seen the infusion of Swedish breeding from their leading kennel, Copper's Kennel, which has produced a number of English show champions and the breed record holder. Breeding occasionally, we strive to always improve the breed, and follow the standard Australia should adhere to, the English standard. Our puppies are brought up in a home environment, and all of our adult dogs run free together as a happy and harmonious group. Temperament is paramount in our wonderful breed. Puppies are sometimes available to discerning buyers. Having been an international judge for over 35 years, I am lucky enough to see Irish Setters in all parts of the world, which has enabled me to incorporate imported dogs into our gene pool.
