Three boys born 5th of March searching for loving homes from the first litter of Yakutian Laika in New Zealand. DM if interested to come and meet them. The Yakutian Laika is a hardy and versatile working dog developed by the native Yakut people from the Sakha Republic, this ancient spitz-type dog has helped people survive the arctic for centuries as a sled dog, hunting and herding companion, and loyal guardian. These dogs are intelligent, trainable, and spirited, with a friendly, affectionate temperament. Though they retain strong working instincts, they are also gentle and good-natured with people and bond strongly with their families. They need plenty of play and excercise and thrive in company of their people. They learn through play and positive reinforcement, you can only earn their trust through gentleness and positive interaction, not force or dominance. We would like them to stay in the South Island area. 🤞🩵
