KOMHV is a small Hungarian Vizsla kennel in Waihi, New Zealand. My journey with vizslas began 13 years ago with "Otis" (Oakburn Petra), whose boundless energy and gentle spirit captured my heart. As a marathon runner and outdoor enthusiast, I found the perfect partnering the Vizsla -loyal, athletic, and always ready for adventure. I grew up surrounded by dogs. My mother bred Jack Russell Terriers, and my sister breeds Cocker Spaniels and is a Gundog Show Judge. With this strong foundation of ethical breeding and dog showing -l have learnt a deep respect for breed standards, health and temperament. My journey into Vizsla breeding began with our "Otis" (Oakburn Petra), who has sired several healthy, well-tempered litters over the last 8 years. His exceptional lineage, steady temperament, and classic Vizsla drive made him the ideal foundation stud dog. From there I carefully selected his daughter, Troffin Marigold, as our future breeding bitch. With her outstanding pedigree, gentle disposition, and strong resemblance to her sire, she is a perfect match to carry forward Otis's legacy and my vision for the breed future. Ive grown to deeply appreciate the intelligence, sensitivity and versatility of this breed. At KOMHV our Vizslas are raised in nature, roaming beaches, swimming rivers and exploring mountian trails. At KOMHV I focus on raising well- socialised, healthy vizslas that are ready to be your running partner, family companion, or best bud in the great outdoors.
