We started showing and breeding Chihuahua's in 1982. We are breeders of long and smooth coated Chihuahuas in Adelaide, South Australia. Our aim from the start has been and still is to breed soundness and good temperaments into our dogs. We are not an overly large Kennel and breed for Quality not Quantity. We breed mainly for the Show ring but do have puppies for sale sometimes as pets. Enquiries are most welcome. Here at Kuchukopek we breed for the Show Ring only. We strive to improve the Breed, occasionally we have Puppies that are not suitable for Showing. Our dogs go to their new homes from 3 months onward after we have decided which are suitable for Showing. The puppies that do not make the grade and sometimes older dogs are sold as Pets. Our Kennel Prefix means a lot to us and we value our honesty and integrity. We do not like to sell Puppies at 8 weeks as we cannot guarantee what they will turn out like in regard to type, temperament and size for the Show ring, and as pets if someone is looking for a "Specific" looking Chihuahua. Chihuahuas are known to go through many changes while growing. What might be a beautiful baby could change while growing, and vice versa.
