At Pathfinder Kennels, we are a small, dedicated kennel located just outside Geelong, Victoria. Our focus is on producing sound, intelligent, and balanced German Shepherds — dogs capable of thriving as loyal family guardians, performance dogs, or working companions. We pride ourselves on maintaining: Correct type and structure Strong nerves and solid temperaments Protective instincts balanced with social stability Our dogs are raised in a family environment and undergo structured socialisation from the start, including exposure to children, other animals, different surfaces, noises, and travel. Breeding Philosophy We breed selectively and ethically, only pairing dogs who meet our high standards for health, structure, and temperament. All breeding dogs are: Hip and elbow scored Temperament assessed for suitability We believe a German Shepherd should be loyal, protective, intelligent, and biddable, with the ability to settle in a family home or work environment alike. Bloodlines Our dogs are drawn from working-line foundations, with an emphasis on maintaining functional drive and clear-headedness.
