Skyeway Kennels have been established since 1969 when Betty and Annabel Hart began exhibiting & breeding Cairn Terriers and later joined by West Highland White Terriers. Whippets joined us in 1975 when we bought our first whippet from Martinique Kennels which set up our strong relationship we have enjoyed with Ian Doherty and Terry Crowley for many years. Not long after 1975, I (Annabel) married Jon Gunn, also a breeder and exhibitor of whippets, and the three of us combined our experience to produce many champions and Best in Show winners, particularly at Specialist shows. At our small yet select kennel, based at Goolwa in South Australia, we strive to produce quality, good natured, sound dogs that epitomise the standard. In keeping our kennel small we are able to enjoy this beautiful breed, not just as kennel dogs, but first and foremost - as our much loved pets.
