After many years "in the paddock" with our GSPs we jumped into the showring with a splash. Our dogs are a pleasure in the home, an asset in the field and a success in the showring. We have produced some outstanding hunting partners and exceptional show dogs. Smackpoint dogs can be found all across Australia and internationally, doing all manner of work, from family companion, hunting, showing, sledding, service dog and even police work. Due to our careful selection of breeding stock, with temperament, conformation, working ability and health always at the fore, our dogs have incredible drive and biddability, while retaining calm, steady and affectionate natures. These qualities have made us the sole GSP breeder of drug, cash and explosive detection dogs used by the AFP & RAAF. Our litters are raised in our home with children and other animals to guarantee well handled, sociable dogs who are used to all aspects of life in a busy household. Basic obedience training begins long before our puppies leave our home and all puppies come with lifetime breeders support.
