At Taaffeite Border Collies we focus on breeding a great temperament, trainable nature and an overall sound healthy dog that will excel at dog sports and in a active family home. Own and run by a veterinary nurse, our dogs health and well-being come first. Our adult dogs stay with us for life and are a part of our family. Our dogs are DNA cleared for CEA, TNS, NCL and all other genetic disease found in border collies using Orivet Genetic Labs. We also hip and elbow score our dogs... All of our breeding dogs have excellent scores. We produce some beautifully coloured border collies, but NEVER sacrifice nature or health to produce colour. I am always happy to chat with people regarding border collies, whether they purchase one from me or another breeder and i can recommend other fantastic breeders that share my philosophy.
