TRESCAVAL

At Trescaval there is not too much fanfare about show results, even though I show on a regular basis. We focus on health testing & on breed type, choosing to be known for QUALITY, not quantity. In 2016 we achieved our first Grand Champion: BISS Grand Champion Trescaval Apres Midnite. Exhibiting at Cavalier specialty shows across Australia is paramount for Trescaval. Our Cavaliers are bred from selected UK lines. We breed 1-2 times a year and try to consistently produce sound Cavaliers of good breed type. Our Cavaliers live with us in our home in a climate-controlled environment, not in a kennel. Our dogs have access to grass and outdoor facilities during the day, and are regularly exercised. I bought my first Cavalier in 1989 & have exhibited/handled many breeds over the years. All of our breeding dogs are health tested (hearts by a cardiologist, eyes & DNA testing). We consider heart testing to be essential for the longevity of the breed, that's why I specialist test. New owners receive at least THREE health certificates for the mother (heart, eyes, patellae, CC/DE & Epis Fall).
