Breed - Peruvian Hairless Dog (Medium) Planned Litter - Unknown
My first priority is finding the right pet home for my Inca treasures! On occasion I will cross size to a small to get variations in size- small mediums being the biggest. ,The smaller Peruvians in my opinion are better than the large as they are more endearing ,more animated, more captivating and more loving. They are also more possessive ! lol They are more addictive therefore giving you the space to have more! lol All the necessary health checks and DNA profiling is undertaken to ensure healthy stock from the beginning Only pet homes will be considered-I find a lot of show homes don’t have the best attitudes towards their dogs and their only focus is a ribbon -not their actual happiness. Peruvian hairless dogs are an ancient breed and are comparable to the whippet but have the added bonus of guard dog qualities and of course the unique physical characteristics associated with hairlessness. These striking and sleek silhouettes are a new sight hound breed in Australia and small, medium and large lines are now emerging based on connections with leading international breeders from Europe and the USA. This unique breed also throws coated versions in a wide range of colours including red, brindle, black and blue, parti etc. Peruvian hairless dog ownership connects you to a group of passionate owners commited to the dogs welfare and responsibly improving the breed in Australia. Owners share the excitement of owning one of the most striking and rarest of breeds.

Breed - Peruvian Hairless Dog (Small) Planned Litter - Unknown
They are the original’ lap dog ‘ exceeding more than 3000 years of being! So the ‘ Velcro’ aspect is well imbedded. My foundation bitches are from two leading kennels in Europe-Korrantoh(France) and Bays bushy fur (Finland) I have 7 studs(semen) stored -a hairless stud just out of quarantine -a hairless stud pup still young(spotted)a coated stud at foot-5 breeding bitches(not all living with me) and another female doing the importation process, so the future of the smalls in Australia is great! All my dogs live in the house with us .Being a primitive breed these dogs thrive on attention and do not do well in a kennel out the back so strongly recommend not buying from breeders who do as behavioural issues will arise . All my dogs live indoors with no dog kennel in site . They have access to every room while also having the luxury of running around outdoors .They are privy to every ‘going on’ in the house thus allowing the optimal environment for socialisation . When I go for a drive they all come-another reason why small dogs are ideal. Being a primitive breed they are highly cautious of their surroundings so exposing them to every day scenarios/noise is paramount .A Peruvian kept in a kennel situation is a lost cause. In fact a Peruvian not having access to indoors with their human family would be detrimental to their sensitive nature After trial and error with other Peruvian breeders I have aligned forces with Donnale of ‘Calato’ kennel We follow the same principles, such as breeding only when we want a puppy-the last thing you want is to end up with puppies you did not sell only to accumulate over the years. Also having a breeding partner is a sensible idea because ‘ God forbid’ if I die I know my dogs will have the best outcome.x

My first Peruvian was a large however after getting the smalls I am totally hooked .In my opinion they are more endearing and have a special quality that puts them apart from the large. More attitude ,more antics and more loving. Previous to the Peruvians I had whippets -although similar in personality the Peruvians have that extra ‘ something’that made me want more! .So 7 years later here I am with my family of Inca dogs!
