CH Emeraldcity Walking on Sunshine

Katya is Chief Welcomer to all who visit Emeraldcity and Den Mother to all visiting cairns. She is also a very maternal lady who looks after the puppies of other Emeraldcity girls who have since returned to their homes. She has contributed to the preservation of our beloved breed in this way, along with having had her own puppies. Katya is a beloved member of the Emeraldcity Cairn Clan. Since retiring from the show ring and from her own maternal duties, Katya has re-trained as a Delta Therapy dog. She regularly visits aged care and dementia specific facilities, where the residents love seeing her, patting and cuddling her. She also visits workplaces and helps improve staff morale as part of the Delta Paws the Pressure program. Katya is tested Liver Shunt free and Von Willebrands disease Type 1 Clear.
