May 2023 Liam is retired from showing he may however be entered in the odd Speciality show. His new venture April 2025 is trying out the FUN side of obedience with TRICKS along with his partner in the ring Tanya Eley of Bonikins Border Collies, around at our local obedience club in Townsville.
1st Tricks Trial was 25th April 2025 doing 4 trials my training along with Tanya's handling in the ring has paid off. Liam attained his 3 Qualification Certificates needed to give him his TK.S aka Tricks Starters Title. Doing eight more Tricks Trials in the next level of Novice, Liam also attained the 5 qualifications needed for his TK.N - Tricks Novice Title. Clever boy gaining 7 quals in the Novice level and finishing off our Tricks Trialling year 27th September 2025 with two new titles in tricks.
Topping of the 2025 year with our new venture, Liam won "Top Novice Tricks Dog" for the Canine Obedience Club of Townsville Inc, winning the "Pearl Tricks Novice Trophy" kindly donated by Judy-Forbes-Faulkner. Looking forward to the next level of Intermediate Tricks in 2026.
Huge thankyou to Tennille Heys, of Riversrun Siberian Huskies for handling Liam at the 6th Border Collie National 31-8-2024, a lovely stand and movement photo of them both taken on the day. Liam being short listed into the final cut of 6 out of 13 entries for the Veteran Class.
Thanks must also go to Tennille and Diane for some lovely photos of my boy taken in the Tricks and or show ring .
