"Nix" is a special little Tri Girl that will be an important part of the Future of Brafferton. Showring - Nix made her debut into showing in 2019 and at her first show weekend consisting of 3 shows over the weekend in Nov 2019 she gained 3 Minor Puppy of Breeds, 2020 was a non event here in Victoria due to Covid-19 Virus, Tracking - TD (Tracking Dog) Title - 11/09/2022. TDX (Tracking Dog Excellent) Title - 20/08/2023: Track and Search - Test 1 pass on 17/09/2023: Test 2 passed 13/10/2023: Nose Scent Work - Nix completer a 3 week "Intro to Nose-Scent Work" with Dog Chewition 18/03/2023: She also completed the "Into to Odour" course on the 2/12/2023: Sprint Dog - New Dog Sport commenced 1/7/2024. Points earned are accumulative - i.e. - when owner applies for the N.SPRD, the dog does not lose 100points of the points accumulated, when applying for the next Title. N.SPRD - Novice Sprint Dog - 100 points needed - At the Geelong Obedience Dog Club Long weekend trial Nix gained 1st qualification and 23 points and time of 15.33 seconds. (Time worked out over the 2 runs needed per trial) -on the 26/4/2025: Then next day on the 27/4/2024 another 25 points gained and a time of 14.59 seconds: Once again at the Geelong Obedience Dog Club weekend trial Nix gained her 3rd qualification and 19 points with a time of 18.52 seconds on the 20/09/2025: The next day on 21/09/2025 another 21 points gained and a time of 17.50 seconds: At the Inaugural Collie Club of Victoria Sprint Trial Nix gained her 5th qualification with a time of 14.24 second gaining another 24 points. This also was enough to gain her the N.SPRD (Novice Sprint Dog) Title - 4/10/2025. SPRD - Sprint Dog - 250 points needed - at the MLDC Trial Nix gained her 1st qualification and 22 points with a time of 16.6 seconds on the 09/03/2026: Battle Of The States Australian 100 metre sprint competition - This is an annual fun activity run Australia wide - (Not a Title) 2025 - Nix was entered in the 2025 event for the first time and did the run with a time of 14.59 seconds. Fist time entered in this event and this year was a good entry of 12 Collie Roughs. Breeding - On the 13th August 2021 Nix gave us a litter of 5 lovely pups being 1 sable male, 2 sable females and 2 tri females. The sire was Ch Roughclan La Grande Illusion a sable Rough. On the 8th February 2024 Nix again gave us a litter of 8 lovely pups being 3 Tri Rough girls, 1 B/M rough girl, 1 Tri Smooth girl, 1 Tri Smooth Boy and 2 B/M boys. The sire was Talcott Blue Cherokee a blue merle Smooth. Nix was desexed on 1/10/2024. Health Ophthalmology - Clear; CEA Unaffected done with whole litter.
