Cali’s first show was the Perth Royal, where judge Nigel Trainor (NZ) commented, 'what a showoff!', before awarding her Baby in Group. Cali gained her first points in late January ‘23 and in less than two months, at nine months of age, she had secured her Australian Champion title. By November ’23, in the GSP DOL Pointscore (WA), Cali was: * Rising Star Leaderboard: #1 ** Breed Challenge Leaderboard: #2 *** Show Dog of the Year: #3 In between conformation shows, Cali trains for obedience, rally, scent work and tricks. Performance competition began with Tricks in late 2023, with Cali awarded three 1st places from her first three trials! Since then, she has obtained her novice titles for rally and scent work, in addition to her endurance title.
