'Cedar' is our foundation bitch at Cedarspring Australian Shepherds. She was bred by Rozate Kennels in April of 2020 as a performance prospect, and she has certainly delivered, raking in six titles in her first year of trialling in 2022. Cedar excells in scent sports, having earnt her Tracking Champion title in only one five-month-long season at the age of two years. She also competes in Rally being awarded her Rally Novice and Advance Titles late 2022 and Rally Excellent in 2024 after a long break during which she had her first litter, and was the first Rozate dog to earn a Junior Courser title, passing with flying colours in all trials. Cedar also has titles in Tricks, Sprintdog, Track and Search, and Endurance and is well on her way to achieving her Rally Masters title. Cedar sees opportunities, not obstacles. If she were a human her profession would probably be stunt woman. She is an incredibly agile and athletic dog who amazes me every day with her abilities - which she makes look absolutely effortless. Not only is Cedar an excellent sporting dog, but a loving member of our family. She is good natured with dogs and people, and has a peculiar sense of humor. I thank Rozate Australian Shepherds endlessly for allowing me this special little rocket of a dog and am excited to see what she can contribute to the aussie breed. Cedar whelped her first litter of puppies in April 2023, sired by Blazintails Silvercity Sheriff. She produced six beautiful and healthy puppies, where three were placed in Agility homes and three have remained part of the Cedarspring family.
