Malik is a sweet-natured, playful boy with a taste for adventure. He has already shown an interest for many sports and we are excited to see where this little multitasker’s journey goes from here. Conformation After a successful first year of showing in the Fraser Coast region in 2023, where he got his Australian Championship, a RUBIG, a Class in Show, and Challenge Dog and RUBOB at EKKA2023, we have taken a bit of a step back from the show ring to focus more on sports. This hasn’t stopped us from doing some pretty cool things like venturing out to FCI shows and gaining a CACIB and 2x A2O CACs! Trick Dog His “gateway sport” and one of his favourite activities. Malik holds the Trick Dog Starter and Trick Dog Novice, with multiple 1st and 2nd place awards along the way, including a 80/80 quallie that made his Novice title! Rally Malik surprised us in the Rally ring this year, not only with his lovely performance but with his spirited enjoyment and confidence. He has advanced rapidly through Rally Novice and Rally Advanced, and now holds the Rally Excellent title, with placements and perfect scores along the way. Obedience He loves the sport, but finds its trialling environment very challenging. That’s why we’re especially proud of him for giving it his all and attaining the Community Companion Dog title with three 1st place awards of 95, 90, and 91 points out of 100. SprintDog This is one he goes absolutely crazy for, and probably his favourite one to trial in. He has made breed history by becoming the first schnauzer of any size in Australia to attain the SprintDog Novice title and the first Miniature Schnauzer to attain the SprintDog title. Not only that, he has also been awarded “Fastest Miniature Schnauzer in Australia in 2024” in the 100m Sprint of the Battle Of The States 2024. Lure Coursing After giving Lure Coursing a go in 2023, we took a 2-year-long break to focus on other sports, as two 700m runs were quite demanding for Malik’s little legs. We decided to give it a go again this year, and to our surprise he did fantastic and earned the second quallie he needed for his Junior Courser title! Agility After a couple years of training, Malik had his Agility debut in the competition ring towards the end of 2024. Not only he enjoyed it and zoomed through the courses, he earned 4 Qs and 4x 1st placements! After a bit of a break, he’s come back stronger than ever in 2026 with a 3rd placement and the last quallie he needed for his first Agility title and 10th sports title: Jumping Dog!
