At her first ever show she won 1st place in the Baby Puppy sweepstakes from a huge entry, quickly followed up with a 3rd place in Baby Puppy sweepstakes a few weeks later. She continued her success in the baby class, being awarded Best Baby Puppy in Parade at the SCV Open Parade 2023. Penny also won Best Minor Puppy in Show at the SCV May 2023 Championship Show and she qualified for the SCV Samoyed Puppy of the Year competition at the first opportunity. She is a multi Best Puppy in Group winner. Penny had a large break from showing upon entering the junior class in late 2023. In 2024, she attended shows on only 5 weekends, with fantastic results: ** At Easter she won Challenge and RUBOB over supreme-titled much older competition ** At the SCV Championship Show, Penny was awarded 1st in her class of 5 quality bitches & Best Opposite Limit in Show by well-respected breed specialist judge, Mr Robin Newhouse (UK) who noted she was "sound on the move". ** At the Bairnsdale shows in late August, Penny collected 13 challenge points and was additionally awarded 'Best Intermediate in Group'. We appreciated the lovely comments made by the judges about Penny's correct type and size. Throughout 2024 we had fun trying out some different performance sports with Penny. She loved experiencing new challenges and we enjoyed watching her work with her natural herding, tracking and scent work instincts. She also loved learning the foundation skills required for agility. Penny attended her first shows for 2025 in June. Over 3 weekends she amassed 61 challenge points, and an A2O certificate, which gave her the points needed to finish her Australian Champion title. ****** Penny has won her class at specialty level at every show she has attended ******* At the 13th National Samoyed Show in July 2025, under long-time well renowned breed specialist Averil Cawthera-Purdy (UK), Penny was awarded 1st in her class (14 entered) and Best Intermediate in Show! Her critique was outstanding: "Very impressed with this exhibit. She is correct for size and in beautiful condition which gave her the edge in this strong class. Her head is correct although I could wish it to be slightly sweeter in expression. Her conformation and balance are good. Excellent feet and correct tail set and carriage. Good jacket of correct texture. Her strong open and economical stride with good reach and drive put her at the top of this class." In late 2024, Penny gave us a beautiful litter of puppies sired by Int. Ch. Klajokliu Suo You Rock My World (Imp LTU). I am extremely pleased with her progeny, especially her son Zareine The Chosen One (AI), who has had a fantastic start to his show career.
