Ryze is the very first keeper to carry the prefix Norsonix. With big boots to fill, the aim with Ryze is for biddability and versatility. With both parents titled in performance, and a pedigree packed full of lovely and talented dogs, I am excited to see what Ryze's future holds. Over the last 12 months, Ryze has been started on sheep, commenced agility foundations, obedience classes, rally foundations, scentwork foundations, tricks, canicross, lure coursing, and dry land sledding. So far he has taken to everything we try with eagerness and enthusiasm. He is incredibly easy to live with in a multi dog household. Ryze has a wonderful spirited and joyful personality, He's a happy dog, very social with other dogs and people. He picks up on boundaries and learns quickly. He moderates his energy well particularly with smaller dogs & puppies, and can be trusted to be gentle and sweet with them. Ryze has had some lovely little wins in the show ring in his relatively short career so far. As he starts to mature and grow into himself he has been praised by judges for his friendly and confident personality and conformation with some best of breeds, runner up best of breeds, class in groups, possibly the most exciting highlight being SHORTLISTED FOR BEST IN GROUP & AWARDED BEST PUPPY IN GROUP at just 10 months old. Ryze has started his performance career with a bang, with three performance titles in the first few months of competing. Ryze achieved his first performance title at the 2024 Perth Royal Show. His first two passes were lovely work at Dogs West. The Royal Show was certainly a challenging environment, but he pulled it together to achieve his Trick Dog Starter Title As Sprint Dog was recently introduced to WA, we entered the first three trials advertised. Ryze took to the sport with enthusiasm and achieved consistent results receiving 40 points per trial to achieve his Novice Sprint Dog Title We dabbled in a few Rally trials over the later part of the year, with each of the 3 trials entered achieving a qualifying round, finishing off at the WA State Obedience and Rally trial to achieve his Rally Novice Title Ryze continues to thrive with Sprint Dog, achieving more consistent results receiving 40 points per trial to achieve his Sprint Dog Title He also dabbled in Lure Coursing for a few trials early in winter, achieving his Junior Courser Title He is now working towards his next title between other sports. Ryze found his favourite activity in winter of 2025, learning all about Dryland Sledding. This was mine and his first season of sledding, so we spent the winter learning together. His drive and enthusiasim is second to none, and while not being the fastest overall for the year, beaten by a couple of other teams, he was awarded our club's Novice Of The Year (WA Sleddog Sports Association) Later in 2025, Ryze moved into a co-own home, where he continues to be a huge part of our programme. He is still loving his sports and has since achieved his Sprint Dog Advanced Title and has had a try at Dock Dogs. I am extremely thankful to Emily for taking exceptional care of our special boy, and still exploring sports that he will enjoy with him.
