Arwen Aolani

Introducing Arwen Aolani, our heart's delight at BarronMist kennels. She has a spotless DNA testing result through Orivet, and is soon to produce her first litter. She is a loving companion, very tied to her people, especially her "dad". She's proud to demonstrate her repertoire of tricks and adores being cheered on. She loves to run and frolic on the beach, and can out run and outlast adolescent footy players. She is (mostly) obedient, loyal, and protective. She will be a most excellent Mama. Ari is very well-travelled, having gone with us on our "lap of the country", and has been able to run on the best beaches in the world, those in Esperance included. We ended up buying a house lot in Mareeba, Paul deciding it had the most Kauai-like climate, and are in the process of having our first home in Australia built. She loves the land! She has her path around the property, where she happily gets down to her business of scaring up all the lizards and skinks to play with, while helping us in the yard. She is a very smart hunter, expert at scaring up cane toads, while not getting poisoned, and letting us deal with them. Her first litter of puppies is due around May 25th, 2025, and she has all the traits of being an attentive, loving mama. She has been the most excellent little companion, being beautiful and smart, so willing to please, (except of course when the "Westietude" kicks in), and we just couldn't keep all her beauty and talents to ourselves. Consequently, her first litter! Yea! Ari delivered her first baby via C-Section on May 29, 2025. We named her Aolani'iki, which is Hawaiian for Little Heavenly Cloud. Thank you to all those who showed interest in our beautiful puppy. We are keeping her.
