A2O CH CH. Kaze-Komachi vd Egmato (IMP HUN)

Kaze is an absolute boon for his family and for the future of the Shikoku breed in Australia. He was entrusted to us by VD Egmato Shikoku, the first kennel outside of Japan to be permitted to breed Shikoku dogs. They have done wonders with strengthening the Shikoku form in Kaze and certainly raised him to be the most loveable and willing-to-please young man. While Kaze sports the striking appearance and structure of the breed, he is certainly more loving, outgoing and trusting in comparison with other Shikoku we have met in Australia. His boisterousness really comes out when playing with Haru; he loves chasing and 'sumo wrestling,' but adores his quiet nap time at his masters' feet. He isn't aloof and is not as prey-driven as Haruko, so we like to call him 'Shikoku Lite.' Regardless, due to his striking appearance and good, developing structure, he has won multiple Best of Breed against other Australian Shikokus. Kaze shows incredible promise as as the sire of a healthy next generation of Australian Shikoku Inu.
