Haruko is a stunning example of the breed, with gorgeous face markings, incredible agility and copious amounts of Shikoku sass. A Japanese import, she came through an extended COVID-induced kennel stay and her quarantine session incredibly well and was immediately ready to bond with her family and meet her adoring public. She's incredibly slender yet muscular, so she is very agile and loves parkour (both indoor and out). She gives Kaze a run for his money in the wrestling ring. She has an incredible prey drive, a strong desire to work and a boatload of Shikoku Inu sass. As a typical Shikoku, she has bonded incredibly closely to her immediate family and, while she loves meeting new people, she always demands the time and space to suss out anyone new and approach at her own pace. While she isn't destructive when bored she absolutely demands mental stimulation, otherwise she can become vocal in her frustration. She performed her showdog duties admirably during her first year in Australia. However, as she by far prefers more energetic and engaging activities such as tracking, digging, chasing and guarding, she was relieved of her showing duties once she achieved her champion title and Kaze arrived to take up the show Shikoku ambassador mantle.
