"Chester" is from a special litter born in NZ using frozen semen we stored the early 2000s from "Kiwi Murphy" (Best Of Breed - Melbourne Royal 2004) and sire of many champions around the world including Junior In Show winner at the 1st Border Collie National (Sydney 2006). "Chester" didn't enter the show ring until he was 9 months of age but on his first day out he went Opp Sex Puppy In Show at the Border Collie Club of Queensland Ch.Show under breed specialist, Ms Elain Saxon (Maghera Kennels, Vic). The following weekend, he followed up with his first CC points. We feel we won't see the best of him until he has fully matured but a few of his characteristics we love already are his old-fashioned 'type', good length of body, steady movement, nice bone and strong head with well-defined stop.
