Aust Champion Take It Or Leave It Hoxacam Du Chemins Des Korrigans (IMP FRA)

A little shy of 12 months ago I asked my lovely friend Elizabeth Camboni of “Des Contamines” Pembroke Corgi fame if she could recommend a breeder in France of quality Miniature American Shepherds. With no hesitation, she encouraged me to contact Marie Raynard and Jean-Marc Duguy, breeders located a few hours south- west of Paris who bred under the Du Chemins Des Korrigans prefix. Elizabeth was confident that they would be able to help me with a quality girl to be the foundation of our Miniature American Shepherd journey. Arriving in mid October, we are proud to introduce our beautiful girl “Taki” Take it Or Leave It Hoxakam Du Chemins Des Korrigans (Imp France) We are excited to welcome Taki to our home; she now sleeps on my bed (as promised) and is the recipient of lots of love. Our eternal thank you goes to Marie and Jean-Marc for allowing her to join us here in Australia. Hoping one day you will come and visit her and us! Beautifully bred from quality USA blood lines, Taki is blessed with a wonderful temperament, excellent health results, outstanding breed type, movement and importantly the correct size to start our journey. I decided to go and visit Taki and Marie, Jean-Marc and family in June this year – I had a wonderful time meeting the family, seeing the sights of the south of France and traversing from one side of it to the other to compete in the French National Dog Show – Taki first time with me was graded “Excellent” at both shows and placed 4th in the specialty ring. Huge thank you goes to our importer, Tricia Cumner of Azzabern Animal Transport who has been professional and thorough during the whole process from start to finish, ensuring that every box is ticked and process followed with the best possible outcome for Taki’s trip from Torce De Charnes, France to Minden Qld Australia! Her start in the show ring here in Australian has been promising and considering she was only shown a few times as a baby and then by me in June she is picking up the process nicely, with multiple BOB and multiple group shortlists since her arrival since starting her showing journey after a few weeks of settling in.
