Safari is a very typey orange roan male Cocker Spaniel who was a very welcome addition to our family of Cockers. He has shown great potential right from the beginning of his show career with numerous wins so far at Breed and Class in Ggroup level. Safari was awarded First Place in the Minor Puppy class and Best Opposite Sex Minor Puppy in Show at the Cocker Spaniel Society of NSW specialty Show on 6th April 2012 He achieved his first Dog Challenge and BOB (15 points) at the age of 8 months amongst stiff competition (DogsNSW Western Region show 21st April 2012). We have been extremely happy with the many positive comments from both other cocker exhibitors and judges and look forward to Safari's continued show career and eventual inclusion in our breeding program. Safari is 'clear by parentage' for both PRA and FN. Many thanks for Carol Dawson, Safari's breeder for allowing him to come to live with us. UPDATE: On 25th August 2012 at the age of 1 year and 3 weeks Safari gained the final points required to earn the title of AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION 19 December 2012 ---> Safari is No 9 Cocker Spaniel on the Dogzonline BREED CHALLENGE 2012 point score (Australia wide)
