The photo shows Lara after the Endurance Test at the 4th National. She was three weeks from her eighth birthday (the cutoff) and not only completed it, was awarded Fittest Dog in Trial by the Vet. Not bad for an 'old lady'. Now retired, Lara had quite a show career - especially for one who disliked showing and would really rather be on the lounge with the remote. A quiet achiever. Judge Dr Axel Linneweber (FCI) Germany Judge's Critique - 6 year old typical bitch of lighter version. Correct scissor bite, muzzle & skull. Ears set low. Neck, back and tail correct. Chest could be slightly deeper. Shows good forchest. Dark roe coat has excellent flags & fringes. Could have more breeches and feathers. Movement harmonic, smooth and elegant. Behaviour peaceable and friendly. Lara had not been shown since the National in 2005. 3rd Weimaraner National Show, November 2005 Graded Excellent, 3rd Aust Bred Bitch Class.
