🦁 RUPERT 🦁 Lucky He’s Cute! Rupert is my gorgeous snuggle-bug and an absolute delight to be around. He is a ridiculously happy chap with not a care in the world. Nothing phases Rupert and each new adventure is taken in stride. Rupert is a very active little dude and we keep busy competing in Earthdog, Rally, Obedience, Trick Dog and Scent Work. We are enjoying spending time together and learning tricks and little Rupie is very smart and a super fast learner. Rupert has been semi-retired from the show ring for a while now and only comes out to play for major events in order to interact with the public and get lots of pats and attention! To say I'm proud of this little guy is an understatement. He continues to excel in sports and in 2026 we are hoping to continue our Obedience and Rally journey, get back to Scentwork and work towards our next Trick Dog title. AWARDS: 18/08/2025: My amazing Rupert has finished the 2025 Earthdog season with a bang! He is officially the FIRST Norwich Terrier to attain the EARTHDOG GRAND CHAMPION title in Australia. He is also the SECOND dog within NSW to attain this elite title. I’m beyond proud of my beautiful boy, and it truly is such a fitting achievement for my special First Edition! 01/06/2025: IT’S OFFICIAL! Rupert is the FIRST Dual Champion titled Norwich Terrier in Australia. 11/04/2025: Under some of the most difficult trial settings in Australia, Rupert has attained the final pass for his Community Companion Dog (CCD.) title at the Sydney Royal. He is the first and only Norwich in Australia to have attained an Obedience title and one of the most titled across multiple sporting disciplines. 20/08/2024: Ending the 2024 Earthdog season in style, Rupert becomes the FIRST Norwich Terrier in Australia to attain an Earthdog Champion (ED. CH.) title. 31/03/2024: Rupert gains the final pass for his Trick Dog Novice (TK.N.) title with a score of 77/80. This little dog never ceases to amaze me with his focus for tricks and obedience. 15/09/2023: After trying something different, Rupert attains the final pass for his Rally Novice (RN.) title with an amazing score of 99/100. He and Vixen are the FIRST Norwich Terriers in Australia to hold a Rally title and I'm so proud of them both! 23/07/2023: Rupert finally gains the final pass for his Master Earthdog (ME.) title. He is now the FIRST Norwich Terrier in Australia to hold 4 Earthdog titles: Earthdog Instinct Certificate, Junior Earthdog, Senior Earthdog and Master Earthdog. 20/01/2022: Rupert attains his Trick Dog Starters (TK.S) title, officially making him the equal first (with his sister Vixen) Norwich Terrier in Australia to be awarded this title. 14/07/2021: Rupert wins Best Neuter of Breed at the 2021 Sydney Royal Dog Show, which we entered purely for fun and to show off this amazing breed to the public! He is the first Norwich Terrier in history to win this award! 24/06/2020: Rupert becomes the first Australian Norwich Terrier to attain 4 titles with Do More With Your Dog (AKC affiliated) -- Novice Trick Dog, Intermediate Trick Dog, Advanced Trick Dog and Expert Trick Dog. 24/03/2020: After re-entering the show ring late 2019, Rupert becomes the first male Norwich Terrier in Australia (and only the second of the breed) to attain his Neuter Champion title. * Photos courtesy of myself
