MAYA
Female
D.O.B April 2021
Microchip # 985141001279621
Adoption Fee: $350

Maya is an absolute sweetheart that is learning how to trust people after a rough start in life.

After being passed around multiple homes that didn't understand her breed, Maya is looking for a forever family that can build up her confidence and show her the love she deserves.

She's an affectionate girl but can spook easily, so needs a home that can provide a very calm, predictable environment and is familiar with reading canine body language. For this reason she will need to go to a home where any children are at least secondary school aged.

Maya is not a fan of other dogs, so will need to be on only dog. She will thrive with a handler dedicated to teaching her leash skills and general obedience to help her make good choices.

She needs a typical Husky home with no cats or other small animals, and a yard with secure fencing and gates at least 6 foot high.

If you could give this amazing girl the life she deserves and meet all her requirements, please complete our adoption application.

Maya will need:

* any children to be at least in their teens
* a home with no other dogs
* no cats, pocket pets or other animals
* daily walks, always on lead
* a reasonable sized yard with grass areas and an undercover area for shelter
* fences and gates will need to be secure and at least 6 foot high
* Arctic breed experience, preferably with Husky ownership, is required.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MEET ALL MAYA'S REQUIREMENTS

OLLIE
Desexed Male
D.O.B Nov 2020

** On HOLD**

Microchip # 956000019459484
Adoption Fee: $350

Ollie is a cute little Husky boy who came to us from a regional pound with no microchip or history, so we know nothing about his past. He is a sweet, easy boy and although he can be a bit aloof, he is gradually becoming more affectionate and enjoys a cuddle and a tummy rub.

He is a very friendly fellow who is happy to have another dog around, but he is also content to mooch around on his own or lie in his favourite spot in the house. He’s also happy just chilling out in the yard, and hasn’t shown any inclination to dig holes or escape.

Unfortunately another dog grabbed him by the ear which did a bit of damage and resulted in the tip of his ear needing to be removed, but we think it just adds to his personality and gives him a jaunty look!

After being a fussy eater when he first came to us, he is now happy to eat just about anything.

Ollie is very interested in wildlife so a secure yard with gates and fencing at least 6 foot high is a must, and he would not be suited to a home with cats or other animals. He can initially pull a bit on lead or if he sees something of interest, but he settles down and walks quite nicely once the excitement wears off.

Ollie will need:

* any children to be at least primary school age
* no cats, pocket pets or other animals
* a home on his own or with a female canine companion of similar size
* daily walks, always on lead
* a reasonable sized yard with grass areas and an undercover area for shelter
* fences and gates will need to be secure and at least 6 foot high
* Arctic breed experience, preferably with Husky ownership, is required.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MEET ALL OLLIE’S REQUIREMENTS

If you are interested in having Ollie join your family and giving him the loving home he deserves, please apply!

Each application we receive is considered by our Committee, and we seek to find only the best suited homes, no matter how long that may take.

OSKA
Desexed Male
D.O.B March 2014

Microchip # 982000356685113
Pet Exchange Register Source Number: RE100304

Adoption Fee $250

Oska is a gentle senior fellow who loves to wander around the yard at his leisure and spend most of the day snoozing on his couch.

He is fairly tolerant of other dogs so he may suit a home with a similarly relaxed doggo friend, but he is also happy chilling out on his own.

Oska is a bit underweight and is currently getting 3 meals a day to help build him up, but he is otherwise in good condition and a healthy boy.

Oska is quite interested in wildlife so a secure yard with gates and fencing at least 6 foot high is a must, and he would not be suited to a home with cats or other animals.

Oska will need:

* Any children to be at least primary school age
* no cats, pocket pets or other animals
* a home on his own or with a canine companion of similar size
* daily walks, always on lead
* a reasonable sized yard with grass areas and an undercover area for shelter
* fences and gates will need to be secure and at least 6 foot high

Arctic breed experience, preferably with Husky ownership, is required.

If you are interested in giving this lovely senior gentleman the love and home he deserves, please apply!

Oska is not available for interstate adoption and is not suitable for apartments, homes with small yards or rural areas.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET ALL THE DOG'S REQUIREMENTS.
Each application we receive is considered by our Committee, and we seek to find only the best suited homes, no matter how long that may take.

KYE
Male
D.O.B: Nov 2022
Microchip # 956000015762392
Source # RE100304
Health: Desexed, vaccinated; wormed, health checked
Adoption Fee $350

Kye is a 2 year old Husky boy who came to us from a regional pound where he had been surrendered due to his owner having to move from their property.

Kye was very shy and nervous when he first came into our care, but he is steadily gaining confidence and trust in people.

Sudden movements and loud noises are still scary for him, so he will need a new family who are prepared to be patient, introduce new things slowly and give him lots of gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement. For this reason he will require a family where any children are at least in their teens.

He is a very quiet and affectionate boy who now loves his cuddles and doing zoomies, but he is also happy just to chill out on his own in the yard. He has shown some interest in what is going on outside the fences, so a secure yard with gates and fencing at least 6 foot high is a must.

Kye is still very nervous on lead and can suddenly have a panic attack and try to pull backwards out of his collar, so he is best walked with a lead attached to both a collar and harness for the moment, until he gets used to the outside world.

He may be suitable with a calm and confident female dog of similar size, but would not be suited to a home with cats or other animals.

Kye will need:
* any children to be at least secondary school age
* no cats, pocket pets or other animals
* a home on his own or with a tolerant female canine companion of similar size
* daily walks, always on lead
* a reasonable sized yard with grass areas and an undercover area for shelter
* fences and gates will need to be secure and at least 6 foot high

Arctic breed experience, preferably with Husky ownership, is required.

If you are interested in having Kye join your family, and helping him learn that the world is not such a scary place, please apply!

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET ALL THE DOG'S REQUIREMENTS.

ROSKY

** ON TRIAL **

Desexed Male
D.O.B June 2023
Microchip #: 900164002188370
Source # RE100304
Adoption Fee: $350

Rosky is a handsome fellow with stunning blue eyes who would love to find his forever family. He had been surrendered to a local shelter due to not getting along with the family cat, so he would not be suitable for a home that has cats or other small pets.

Rosky does not appear to have had much training, so he will need an owner who is firm but fair and who is prepared to set him some boundaries and commit to ongoing training and encouraging good manners. He can jump up and play a bit rough when he gets excited, so for this reason any children would need to be at least in their teens.

He has shown a very strong desire to chase and explore and has the usual Husky “selective deafness”, so walks must always be on lead in the hands of someone who can hang on tight when he decides something needs his urgent investigation.

Rosky is quite social with most other dogs but is also happy to chill out on his own, so he could be an only-dog or go to a home where he will have a canine girlfriend of similar size that will tolerate his youthful exuberant play.

Being a typical Husky, Rosky will need a secure yard with shelter and fences at least 6 foot high, and preferably also indoor access when the family is home.

Ideally we would like him to go to a home that has had experience with owning a playful young Husky, so if you meet Rosky’s requirements and need a bit more Husky-fun in your life, please apply!

Rosky is not available for interstate adoption and is not suitable for apartments, homes with small yards or rural areas.

Rosky will need:

* any children to be in their teens
* no cats, pocket pets or other animals
* a home as an only-dog or with a female canine companion of similar size
* Daily walks, always on lead
* A reasonable sized yard with grass & garden areas and an undercover area for shelter
* Fences and gates will need to be at least 6 foot high, secure and dig-proof
* Rosky will require a home with Arctic breed experience, preferably with Husky ownership.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET ALL THE DOG'S REQUIREMENTS.
Each application we receive is considered by our Committee, and we seek to find only the best suited homes, no matter how long that may take.

BULLET
Siberian Husky
Male (D)
Born – Actual Date TBA (5 Years)

Located – Parramatta NSW
Interstate Adoption – Yes

My name is Bullet but don’t think of me as a missile breaking the sound barrier, I’m more of a smooth ride that corners like I’m on rails. Well, until my kryptonite enters the equation – toys. Particularly balls. I’ll spread such glee we’ll all break out in song like we’re on top of a mountain in the Swiss Alps.

Rather you will, for I have yet to learn the song of my people - nary a peep will you ever hear from these sweet lips of mine.

With “sit”, “stay” and “come” down pat, nothing gives me more pleasure than being an integral, and loved, part of my family unit from baby right on up. A daily constitutional plus inside/outside access at will, for the win.
I do have a couple of small phobias – trucks and buses unnerve me and I’m not that comfy in very crowded environments. They don’t prevent me from living life but if you’ve got the means to work on this with me I’m willing to go to rehab. If it makes you feel better we can just call it a bonding exercise.

When it comes to other canine friends my early history is unknown as to whether I’ve lived with any – I don’t in my current home. With that said – and pay attention here please – if you’ve got a chilled canine friend of equivalent size it may work for I do enjoy romps at the dog park. Just no little dogs thanks in advance – they upset my digestion. I kids! I kids! I haven’t eaten one but I do humbly declare I am not a fan so let’s be safe not sorry.

If you’re ready to bend it like Beckham, game on!
