I have been involved in conformation showing since 1999, breeding and exhibiting Cairn Terriers under the Emeraldcity prefix with my wife Ginnette Loft. Our Cairn Terriers have been consistently successful, winning multiple Best in Show awards at Breed, Terrier and All Breeds levels under Australian and International judges.
We have also exhibited Australian Silky Terriers, Norwich and Skye Terriers. I have handled Alaskan Malamutes, Fox Terrier Smooths, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Scottish Terriers and Boston Terriers.
I have judged at group level and Speciality shows across Australia, New Zealand, England, Czech Republic, Finland, and USA.
Some prestigious shows I have judged include the British Terrier Club of NSW Australia (entry 144 terriers), Cairn Terrier Show Finland (entry 90), Kennel Club of Palm Springs USA 2023 Hound Group, French Bulldog Fanciers of Southern California (USA) 2023 (entry 98) and Desert to the Sea Chinese Shar-Pei Speciality Show (USA) 2023
This year I had the pleasure of judging the 100th anniversary show for the Czech Republic Terrier Club. Along with judging a number of breeds, I was honoured to award both the Best short and long legged In Show awards.

I am licenced for the following:
FCI (AU650) for groups 3,4,6,7,8,9,10 and multiple breeds from groups 1,2,5.
AKC (99857) for groups Toys, Terriers, Sporting, Hounds, and Non-Sporting.
Australia and New Zealand for Toy Group, Terrier Group, Gundog Group, Hound Group, and Non-Sporting Group.
