Ms Sandra Craig - I am a renowned dog judge, born in Scotland and have lived in New South Wales, Australia since 1980, licensed by Dogs Australia. I started showing my first Rottweiler in 1984. I was introduced to the Akita in 1986 by a top winning breeder and fell in love with the breed. I was mentored by the best and was also involved with their breeding/showing programmes, handling many dogs to their Supreme/Australian championships. I have owned/handled many champions on my journey, including Siberian Huskies and West Highland White Terriers, winning multi Best In Show and Class in Show awards.
JUDGING CREDENTIALS
I ventured into judging in 2012 gaining ANKC approval to judge Championship (and Open shows) in the Utility group, following on with Working, Non-sporting and Gundog groups. I am also an Accredited Assessor for Utility, Working and Non-Sporting groups.
PAST JUDGING APPOINTMENTS
I have judged in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria and also in New Zealand. I have also had the privilege to judge Specialty shows for the Boxer, Bulldog, Keeshond(Open shows), Bulldog/French Bulldog, Samoyed, and Finnish Lapphund breeds and also Utility & Non-Sporting club specialties.
