I am a second-generation dog exhibitor and breeder. My family bred and exhibited Samoyed and Boston Terriers under the Suedanka Prefix since the early 1970s. I competed actively in the child and junior handlers before settling on my own breed, the Cocker Spaniel.
My first litter of cocker spaniels under the Suedanka prefix was in 2005 and to date I have achieved 4 homebred NZ Grand Champions, 1 imported NZ Grand Champion and 2 Supreme Grand Champions.
Although I focus on my chosen breed of cocker spaniels, I have enjoyed actively exhibiting other breeds for family and friends including: Pugs, Golden Retrievers, Shetland Sheepdogs, Cavalier King Charles and a Whippet.
I received my championship license for the Gundog group in 2022, Toy group in 2024 and Working group in 2025.
To date I have had the pleasure to judge in New Zealand and the absolute honor of judging my own breed for the Queensland Cocker Club Specialty show in 2024.
Outside of exhibiting, breeding and judging I am a Chartered Accountant, work full time and enjoy working in my garden.
