Initial breed involvement with Dachshunds & Irish Setter before purchasing my first Rhodesian Ridgeback in 1985 and entering the show world. Later, involved with Beagles for several years. Owned and bred over 42 Champions, multiple Best in Show & Specialty winners, sport titles and dedicated community & therapy dogs. Over the past 40 years I have shown, handled and titled several other Hound & Gundog breeds plus two Newfoundlands. Over 20 years judging experience throughout Australia and Internationally. I have attended several World events over the years studying potential sires and pedigrees, importing dogs and bloodlines with the aim of improving health and breeding stock.

Co-authored the Rhodesian Ridgeback Judges Training package accredited by the NRRC (Australia). Presented breed lectures in Australia and Internationally, including the honour as an invited speaker at ENCI (Milan) in 2024.
